Dr. Holger Hanisch - CEO

Born in 1968, Holger studied law in Germany and the U.S.A. He is a DAAD alumni, qualified to practice law in Germany and gained his Ph.D. for a thesis on Chinese Insurance Law from the University of Augsburg, Germany, in 2002. Following a first stay in Shanghai in 1996/97, Holger livedin Beijing from 1999 until 2012. Apart from his consulting work at Hanisch & Sandner, he is managing our GERNWEIT brand, under which we are developing and producing environmentally friendly vehicles and renewable fuels. Holger's pervious work experiences include employment as research assistant for business law at the RWTH University in Aachen, Germany, vice director of the GTZ legal reform project in Beijing, head of the department for law and business of the German Chamber of Commerce in Beijing, director and CFO for the China activities of Bucyrus International Inc. and manager in the business development department of Caterpillar Global Mining. Holger has published numerous articles and frequently holds presentations on Chinese law. The focus of his advisory work is foreign direct investment and compliance management in China as well as the establishment of Chinese invested companies overseas. Holger's native language is German; he is fluent in English and Chinese.

Jingping Zhang

Jingping is very experienced in all aspects of machinery and equipment sales in China, including the establishment of sales networks, participation in bidding and tendering procedures, contract negotiation and import procedures. Tom holds a bachelor degree in international trade. He joined Hanisch & Sandner in 2012 and heads our office in Tianjin, China, managing our communication with Chinese investors. Prior to joining Hanisch & Sandner, Tom has worked as export manager for a Chinese e-bike manufacturer, as salesman for a major Chinese resources company and as consultant in the medical equipment industry. Tom's native language is Chinese. He is fluent in English.
