Monica Loughran

Monica is a Town Planner with more than 5 years' experience, having qualified with a Master's Degree from Glasgow University in November 2017 and elected as a member of the Royal Town Planning Institute in 2020. Since joining McInally Associates Limited in 2018, Monica has worked on a wide range of projects from local and national plan representations to submitting a variety of planning applications and appeals. Monica has been primarily occupied by her involvement in large scale development projects at Glasgow Harbour whilst being involved in obtaining planning consents for numerous housing proposals in Glasgow and the surrounding area. She is also responsible for sustainable energy development projects in the form of battery and other energy storage facilities. In all of these projects Monica has developed a good relationship with clients, local authority planners, external and internal consultees and other stakeholders.

Scott Graham - Managing Director

Scott is a chartered Town Planner with over 25 years of experience, having qualified with a Bachelor of Arts Degree from Strathclyde University in 1996 and elected as a member of the Royal Town Planning Institute in 1999. Scott Initially worked in the Local Plans section of Highland Council where his duties included site surveys, formulation and preparation of local plan policies and collation of computerised data bases. Since joining McInally Associates Limited in 1997 Scott has worked on a wide range of projects from Local plan submissions to major planning applications and has coordinated and presented evidence to planning committees and major Public Inquiries associated with development plan policies and development proposals. During this period he has also co-ordinated the compilation of Environmental Impact Assessments and provided sound advice to a wide range of clients.

Tom McInally

Tom McInally formed McInally Associates in 1990 following 21 years employment by Glasgow City Council, and a further 3 years when he formed the Planning Consultancy at James Barr and Sons. Whilst with the City Council Tom gained extensive experience in Planning Policy, Development Management, Urban Renewal and Local Planning becoming the Assistant Chief Planner responsible for the largest urban renewal project in Europe in the East End of Glasgow (GEAR). At James Barr he built a successful Planning Consultancy extending his experience in retail planning and private practice in a surveying environment. With almost 55 years experience on a wide range of planning projects since entering planning as a professional apprentice in Glasgow, Tom is amongst the most experienced Planning and Development Consultants in the United Kingdom.
