Syd Bishop & Sons Ltd is one of the UK's leading demolition contractors that was formed in 1929 and currently celebrating our 94th year... This was the ethos of Mr. Sydney Bishop; an experienced demolition expert who, in 1929 founded Syd Bishop & Sons (Demolition) Ltd and the famous slogan ‘Watch it Come Down'. Working from his home and front garden in Bromley, Kent, Syd built up a fine reputation. He later took on his sons to help with the business, subsequently moving to the present Head Office location in Orpington in 1970... As well as boasting an excellent health and safety record, we provide regular and on-going training for all our staff with a keen focus on health and safety standards. We are fully accredited by all relevant associations, including the National Federation of Demolition Contractors (NFDC).
