Carol Crandall

Carol Crandall received her Bachelor of Architecture degree from Carnegie-Mellon University in 1981, and her Masters in Science in the History of Modern Architecture from the University of London in 1989. She has worked for Chicago Associates, Planners and Architects, Loebl Schlossman and Hackl/Hague Richards Architects, Bone Morris Architects in London, and Onque'/Harai Architects in Pittsburgh. Construction costs for projects she has worked on have ranged from $250,000 to $8.4 million. She is a past president and current member of Chicago Women in Architecture, and the exhibition collaborative CARY. She has exhibited her work in the James R. Thompson Building and at the Randolph Street Gallery in Chicago, and has been a visiting lecturer and critic at the University of Illinois at Champaign and Chicago campuses. She is a licensed architect in Illinois.

John Ritzu

John Ritzu received his Bachelor of Architecture degree from Carnegie-Mellon University in 1977, and his Masters in Science in the History of Modern Architecture from the University of London in 1989. After moving to Chicago in 1984, he joined Pappageorge Haymes Architects where he was an associate and senior project manager until 1996. His personal experience includes the design and/ or execution of 14 major multi family housing projects in the Chicago area, ranging in size from 4 to 70 units, with budgets from $.5 million to $8.5 million. He has also been an adjunct assistant professor in the School of Architecture at the University of Illinois, Chicago Campus, and was a full time instructor in the Architecture Department of the College of Fine Arts at Carnegie-Mellon University. He has served on the board of directors of the Edgewater Community Council, and Edgewater Development Corporation. He is a licensed architect in Pennsylvania.
