Mr. Taylor has been responsible for a multitude of municipal engineering and development projects throughout Florida. This includes project management, master design responsibility and oversight for a variety of projects. Mr Taylor has 41 years of experience in civil engineering and is a registered Professional Engineer in Florida, Colorado, Illinois, Iowa and Wisconsin. This experience includes 29 years of project management, design and permitting for redevelopment projects in South Florida.
Mr. Taylor is responsible for the company's business development as well as being the Director of Municipal Services. His experience also includes project management, for both Public and Private projects.

After years of inspecting F-14 Tomcat aircrafts for the United States Navy, Mr. Brian Tull entered the construction world. He has 23 years of experience in all phases of construction & inspections on residential, commercial, and governmental projects. His management responsibilities include coordination of project / construction activities. This involves the monitoring, coordinating, and overseeing of project / construction activities from the design phase to construction completion. Other tasks involved within this scope include: quantity takeoffs for payment to contractors; processing of change orders; tracking of all water, sanitary, and drainage testing for certification to various agencies; and review of as-builts.

Mr. Thomas McDonald, the President of CTA, started in 1979 as the firm's Chief Financial Officer, and has been the President since 1986. Mr. Patrick Gibney, P.E. is the Vice-President of Civil Engineering and arrived at CTA in 1993. Heading up the Land Planning & Landscape Architecture Department is Mr. Scott Peavler, P.L.A., who began his tenure at CTA in 2009. The Vice-President in charge of the Survey Department, for both the field crews and the office, is Mr. Rick Pryce, P.S.M. who is the past President and Director of the Broward County Chapter of the Florida Surveying & Mapping Society. Mr. Brian Tull, with over 20 years of construction experience, is the Director of Construction Services here at Craven Thompson. Mr. Douglas Taylor, with over 35 years of civil engineering experience, is the Director of Municipal Services and Business Development.
Mr. Thomas M. McDonald graduated from Bowling Green State University in Bowling Green, Ohio in March 1976 with a degree in Business Administration. Tom moved from Ohio to Florida in 1979 and began his career at Craven Thompson & Associates, Inc. and in 1986 he became president of the firm. His civic involvement is extensive and his community leadership spans a broad spectrum which included serving on the Broward County Community Development Committee, Broward County Water Resources Board, Broward County Environmental Quality Control Board, and the Broward County Planning Council. Tom was a member of the Broward County Management Review Committee from 1987 to 1989 and served as a Port Everglades Commissioner from 1990 to 1994. For the past 17 years he has been a member of the Housing Finance Authority of Broward County and is the past president of the Boys and Girls Clubs of Broward County. Tom was the Chairman of the Broward County Charter Review Commission from 2015 to 2018. The McDonald Family Foundation, a charitable organization founded by Tom and his wife, Vickie, provides funds to various worthwhile charities associated with children's issues and the disadvantaged in our community.

Mr. Pat Gibney became a registered Civil Engineer in 1995 after receiving his Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from Rutgers University. Pat has over thirty years of civil engineering experience providing project management, design and construction management services for public and private projects. These services include Master Planning Improvements for over 5,000 acres of existing neighborhoods in Broward County, roadway design, design of water distribution systems, sanitary sewer collection & transmission systems, stormwater management systems, preparation of contract documents, specifications and construction inspections. Pat has expertise in stormwater modeling, retrofit design and construction management.

Mr. Crawford has thirty-eight years of experience surveying in South Florida. He has specialized in all aspects of the land surveying & mapping profession. He has specialized training in boundary surveys, FDOT surveys, legal research, and resolving boundary disputes. He oversaw high-risk construction projects for layout and as-builts, including several Midrise buildings, roadways, and bridge projects. Rick has been thoroughly trained in Terrestrial Laser Scanners and 3D Modeling for High-Density Surveying of Commercial, Historical, and Utility Sites. He also has been trained in ways to analyze Aerial & Terrestrial Lidar data for large-scale projects. Rick is an FAA Part 177 Certified Remote Pilot who uses Drones to create design surveys. He prides himself on always staying at the forefront of surveying and mapping technology.
Mr. Scott Peavler, P.L.A. has been with Craven Thompson & Associates, Inc. since 2009.
He personally oversees every project of the CTA Planning and Landscape Architecture Department and is responsible for the processing of plats, site plans, rezonings, right-of-way vacations, project entitlements, land use plan amendments as well as the creation of landscape, hardscape and irrigation plans. Utilizing his knowledge of local, state and federal regulations involved in land development, he makes sure that the client's needs are met, the project is successful and that all projects are completed on time and within budget.
