Alex Dennis

Alex joined Garian in 2015 after graduating with a Diploma in Architectural Engineering Technology from NSCC. Many of Garian's projects begin with Alex working closely with our clients while creating construction drawings. He is also our Safety Coordinator and works as an Estimator & Project Manager for some of our residential projects.

Brandon McNicol

Brandon joined Garian in 2017 after graduating with a Bachelor of Commerce from Saint Mary's University. He enjoys working with Garian's clients and the team to see a project through to completion. Brandon oversees many of Garian's government contracts and is also responsible for all tender submissions, social media pages & company website.

Ian McNicol - President

Job Titles:

Ian is responsible for the leadership & general management of Garian Construction. He is involved in all areas of the company; from overseeing all projects, meeting with clients, coordinating the construction crews, and more. Ian truly enjoys what he does all while working with 2 of his sons, and for all the new friendships he's made from each project. "Our customers become friends, and that is the best part."

Rob Breton

Rob joined Garian in 1995 as a Red Seal Carpenter and has transitioned into a key employee of our office team. With 25+ years of experience in estimating & project managing, and a Gold Seal in project management, he is involved with many of Garian's large projects. Rob enjoys seeing a project start as an idea, and then working together to bring it to life.

Shelley Nickerson

Shelley joined Garian Construction in 2002 as the Office Manager & Bookkeeper. With 20 years of experience, she is a key employee of our team as she is responsible for many aspects of the company's daily operations. Shelley also enjoys helping our clients with ideas and helping them pick various products & finishes for their projects.

Trevin McNicol

Trevin joined Garian in 2008 after graduating with a Diploma in Construction Administration Technology from NSCC. As a project manager & estimator with nearly 15 years of experience, and a Gold Seal in project management, his goal is to keep the project flowing smoothly by working closely with his project team. Regardless of the project type or size, Trevin has the owners best interest in mind.
