Brittany L'Heureux

Brittany L'Heureux currently serves as the Interim Vice President of IT and Chief Information Officer, overseeing IT Systems Operations, Network Operations, Software Solutions and Security Operations. She joined New Hampshire Electric Cooperative in 2023 as the Senior Information Security Compliance Analyst. In 2024, she expanded her role to lead the Co-op's cybersecurity program and drive key process improvement initiatives, which led to her being named Security Operations Manager. Prior to joining the Co-op, Brittany was the Director of Technology for the Raymond School District. She earned a bachelor's degree from Rivier University and maintains several industry-recognized certifications, including Certified Information Security Manager (CISM), Certified in Cybersecurity (CC), and Certified Educational Technology Leader (CETL).

Carla Munoz

Biography: Carla brings a diversity of experience to her role at NHEC, having served as Chief Human Resources Officer at Families In Transition, a New Hampshire-based organization that works to empower people experiencing homelessness. Prior to that, she was Senior Director, Human Resources Business Partner at MSA Safety/Globe Manufacturing; and served as Director of Human Resources at PSI Molded Plastics in Wolfeboro, NH. Carla earned a BA in HR Management from Southern New Hampshire University and holds certifications as Senior Professional in Human Resources (SPHR) and as a Society for Human Resources Management Certified Professional (SHRM-CP).

Harry Viens

Harry began his career in marketing in Boston as a copywriter. From there he worked with Marketing firms in New York, Chicago and San Francisco ultimately settling in Connecticut as a partner in Mason & Madison, a New Haven based advertising agency where he spent 20+ years transforming the company into a marketing, branding and business development consultancy. Passionate about conservation and community service, Harry has been a Selectman in Center Harbor for over ten years and also serves on the Center Harbor Conservation Commission, Heritage Committee and is former Chair of the Planning Board. He also is a former member of the LRCT (Lakes Region Conservation Trust) Lands Committee, working to identify and conserve land and wetlands throughout the Lakes Region. In 2020 he was appointed by the Governor to the State Commission on Aging.

Jeffrey Morrill

Jeff is an energetic, highly creative executive providing leadership and vison across all business functions including strategic planning, product development, R&D, marketing, sales, and operations. He has a record of growth in both revenues and profits. Jeff is a results-oriented decision maker who creates high performance teams and is a skilled consensus-builder. Jeff has worked in a variety of general management, marketing and sales roles at major corporations like Johnson & Johnson, Nestle Foods and the Borden Food Company. He has also been an entrepreneur and led two early stage companies. Jeff is currently Senior Director of Business Development and Strategy at C Space, a consulting firm owned by Omnicom Corporation. Jeff also serves as a Board Advisor to Aptima, a Human Centered Engineering company. He is advising one of their portfolio companies, Advanced Diabetic Systems (ADS), to help advance its predictive analytics program for glycemic control in intensive care units. Education: Jeff earned an MBA in Finance from DePaul University and a bachelor's degree in economics from Lafayette College.

John M. Goodrich

John is a retired executive from Weidmann, a global Swiss-based company and the largest supplier of electrical insulation for high voltage (HV) transformers in the world. John and his team grew capacity and supply of insulation in North and South America to a dominant market share selling to virtually all major producers of HV transformers. A competitive advantage was achieved by offering "total packages" of engineered parts ready to assemble at customer's plants. On a global basis, John led and coordinated major production technology process improvements. He was also asked to lead an industrial ceramic company, Superior Technical Ceramics, in a successful 2-year process to sell the company and retain employees in St. Albans, VT. John served as a director on the Central Vermont Public Service Board, the largest utility in VT for 5 years before Gaz Metro of Montreal purchased CVPS to extend its reach to the populous southern New England and NY markets. John served 10 years as a director of Union Bank, sited across northern NH and VT. Joshua Mazzei - COO

Biography: Joshua Mazzei joined NHEC in 2018 as Manager of Operations. Since then, he has taken on additional responsibilities in the operation of NHEC electric distribution system and was promoted to Director of Operations in 2022. In 2023, he was named Vice President of Operations and in September 2025, he became the Co-op's Chief Operating Officer. Josh came to NHEC from Eversource where he was Manager of Regional Operations. He started his career as a meter reader with Eversource (then known as Public Service of New Hampshire) where he was also a lineman for ten years. Josh also served in the United States Navy. In his role, Josh Mazzei lead the activities of the NHEC Operations Division, which provides safe, reliable and cost-effective electric service to NHEC members.

Kristen Taylor - CFO, VP

Biography: Kristen Taylor is the Chief Financial Officer (CFO)/Vice President of Financial Services. Kristen joined the NHEC Finance team in April 2018, became the Manager of Financial Services in 2020, and was promoted to CFO in 2023. She is responsible for the financial performance of both the electric and broadband divisions of the company, which involves the development of distribution rates, oversight of cash management, creation of financial forecasts and budgets, and completion of internal and external audits. Kristen earned her Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting from Providence College, is the Treasurer of the Northeast Association of Electric Cooperatives (NEAEC)and is a member of the National Society of Accountants for Cooperatives (NSAC).

Biography: Michael is currently serving as the President & CEO of the Co-op. Prior to his current role, Michael led the activities of the Engineering and Operations divisions to provide safe, reliable, and cost-effective electric service to NHEC members. Michael joined NHEC in 2020 as Manager of Engineering and was promoted to Vice President of Engineering & Operations in 2023. In 2021, he was named a Co-op Rising Star, one of 20 young professionals recognized nationwide by the National Rural Electric Cooperative Association. He graduated summa cum laude from the University of Hartford with a B.S. in Electric Engineering and from Southern New Hampshire University with a M.S. in Corporate Finance. Michael holds his professional engineering license in the state of New Hampshire.

Peter Glenshaw

Biography: Peter Glenshaw is the Vice President of Member Engagement. He is responsible for ensuring that NHEC continually improves its relationship with our member-owners. In his role, he oversees the company's Member Solutions department, as well as its energy efficiency programs, communications & marketing and community relations. Prior to joining NHEC in 2023, Peter served as the Vice President for External Affairs at Alice Peck Day Memorial Hospital in Lebanon, New Hampshire, where he was also a member of the Senior Leadership Team. Peter is the former Chair of the Lyme (NH) School Board and the Lyme Foundation, and the co-founder and current board member of the Upper Valley Business Alliance. His work experience also includes 25 years in higher education with responsibilities in administration, research, development, communications, and community relations. Peter received his undergraduate degree from the College of William and Mary and his master's degree from Georgetown University.

Peter Laufenberg

Peter is an investment advisor representative and retirement plan designer for the Ivy League Advisory Group located in Tilton, NH. When not helping clients achieve their financial goals, Peter serves in many roles within the local community. He serves as President and Chair of the Board of Directors for Mid-State Health Center and is finance chair of his Parish Finance Council. Peter also serves as a Selectboard chair in the Town of Thornton. For his work in the community and previous work at Plymouth State University, he was recognized by The Union Leader as one of the 40 under 40 young professionals in New Hampshire in 2016. Most importantly though, he serves as husband to his wife and father his two daughters. Rob Howland

Biography: Rob Howland is NHEC's Director of Power Resources and Access. In this role he is responsible for procuring wholesale electricity supply and related transmission service to meet our Member's needs. He also is responsible for administering NHEC's compliance with New Hampshire's Renewable Portfolio Standard which requires up to 25% of power supply be served from renewable energy. He joined NHEC in 2014 as a Power Resources Executive and has an extensive background in the electric utility industry, with career activities as a Regulatory Commission staffer, in management for publicly owned and investor-owned utilities and as an executive consultant. He is the former Chair of his local School Board where he served for 20 years and he performed for 10 years as Trustee of Public Funds for his hometown of Pittsford, Vermont. Rob received his BS in Resource Economics from the University of Vermont, an MBA from Plymouth State University and studied Energy Planning at the University of Oslo, Norway.

Thomas Mongeon - CEO

Tom is a former nonprofit Executive Director/CEO and former Fortune 100 high tech executive. His experience includes change management, building organizations, leading diverse teams of professionals and managing highly complex projects. From 2013 to 2018 Tom led a NH nonprofit comprising 38 volunteer senior executives and professionals who donated their business expertise to help other NH nonprofits statewide. Prior to that Tom held management positions at GE, Honeywell, United Technologies and the world's largest distributor of semiconductors. He was a Lead Analyst at ISO New England, the regional transmission (electric grid) operator. He also worked in the engineering department at an electric utility and earned his license as a Professional Engineer in Electrical Power. Tom is currently a consultant, adjunct graduate professor and conference speaker on leadership, governance, strategic planning and executive coaching. Education: Tom earned a master's degree in Engineering Management (the engineer's MBA) and a bachelor's degree in electrical engineering; both from Western New England College. He participates in continuing education courses to maintain his license as a Professional Engineer in Electrical Power. Tom's nonprofit and community service began 34 years ago while in college and has ranged from volunteer to board director, vice president and chairman. He is an outdoorsman with a lifelong commitment to our environment, to New Hampshire, and to community service.

William Darcy - Chairman

Bill has considerable experience in the utility sector. He was a utility consumer advocate focusing on regulated electric and telecommunications industries. He then became the Director of Regulation for a public utilities commission with responsibility for electric, telephone, gas, and water companies. Bill also served as the President and CEO of a statewide solid waste management and recycling authority providing services to over 100 municipalities and two million residents using waste-to-energy facilities, recycling processing facilities, transfer stations, and landfills. At the time, with four electric generating facilities, his organization was the largest independent power producer in the State of Connecticut. At NHEC, in addition to being Chair of the Board of Directors, he is Chair of NHEC's subsidiary, NH Broadband, LLC. He headed up NHEC's successful effort to secure a $50 million grant for NHEC's fiber internet business. Education: Bill earned a degree in History/Political Science from the University of Vermont and a Juris Doctor degree, with honors, from the University of Connecticut School of Law.
