PEROXICATS

Main role in PEROXICATS: Our role in this project is the expression and engineering of oxidoreductases (peroxidases and peroxygenases) by directed molecular evolution with the main aim of improving several critical features (stabilities, activities). Our previous experience in protein engineering of fungal oxidoreductases by directed evolution is shown in more than 16 research papers, 3 patents and one PhD-thesis about directed evolution of fungal oxidoreductases. Most of this work has been published in high-level journals (Chemistry & Biology, Proteins, Journal of Biological Chemistry etc) during the last 9 years... Novel and more robust fungal peroxidases as industrial biocatalysts
