SAFE FOODS - Promoting Food Safety through a New, Integrated Risk Analysis Approach for Foods (2004 - 2008)... In the BENTHIS case studies we will test technological fisheries innovations and we will come forward with innovative management scenarios to improve sustainability. The work in de case studies will be done in close collaboration with the fishing industry and other stakeholders. In these case studies, we focus on specific fisheries that are known for their impact on the benthic ecosystem... This Integrated Project will focus on the improvement of risk assessment methods and risk analysis practices for foods produced by different production practices (high or low input systems) and with different breeding technologies (traditional, molecular, genetic modification).
