AFTER THE FINISH LINE

After the Finish Line (ATFL) is a 501(c)(3) charitable organization that awards Monthly Grants to aftercare organizations across the United States. These organizations rehabilitate, retrain, rehome and/or retire Off Track Thoroughbreds. Our charity is also dedicated to the welfare of Thoroughbreds in training that never raced and Thoroughbred foals, broodmares, and stallions... After the Finish Line was founded in 2007. Prior to our start we gained an understanding of aftercare by volunteering with other Off Track Thoroughbred organizations. This opened our eyes to the need for additional funding sources for the horses. Our backgrounds as entrepreneurs, business executives, racehorse and Off Track Thoroughbred owners have helped us create awareness throughout the United States... We also assist aftercare organizations with unexpected expenses that are not budgeted for and when their funds run low due to economic conditions.
