CONSERVATION TAX CREDIT TRANSFER

Conservation Tax Credit Transfer, LLC (CTCT) was founded in 2000 after Carl and Karen Spina placed a conservation easement on their ranch and qualified for a conservation easement tax credit that year. They became very familiar with the conservation easement donation process and the credit transfer process through their donation and subsequent sale of their tax credit. They sold most of their credit in 2001 and realized that many other landowners could benefit from selling their credits as well... CTCT facilitated the transfer and sale of the first two conservation tax credits in Colorado in 2001. Since then CTCT has completed more than 2,700 credit sale transaction.
