James is originally from Beaumont, Texas, but has lived in Dallas since he started his career in Commercial Real Estate in 2006 as a tenant rep. broker at City Venture Group.
Prior to joining Malouf Interests in 2020, James served as the Senior Director of Retail Acquisitions at Leon Capital Group where he oversaw a team focused on the acquisition/development of single tenant retail assets. During that time, James was responsible for the acquisition and development of over 80 retail investments, with a total value of over $270,000,000.00.
As the Senior Vice President of Investments, James will be responsible for sourcing new investment opportunities for Malouf Interests across the country.
James graduated from Vanderbilt University where he was a four-year letterman for the Division 1, Men's Soccer program.

Joe is from Dallas, TX. Joe has worked for Malouf Interests since 2015 and is responsible for supporting all development and investment efforts of the company.
Joe graduated from Texas Christian University with a Bachelor of Business Administration in Real Estate Finance in 2012. Joe is a member of ICSC, TREC, and NAIOP.
Matt, originally from Cincinnati, OH, joined Malouf Interests in 2019 after working with Discovery Land Company for the previous 20 years where he opened several high-end residential communities around the country as the Director of Golf. Matt is responsible for heading of property management for all existing retail properties as well as supporting development and investments efforts of the company. Matt graduated from Furman University with a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science.
A native of Lubbock, Texas, and a 1974 graduate of Texas Tech University, Matt began developing commercial real estate in 1995 after a long career in retail. He has developed office, retail, mixed use and multi-family projects in eleven states.
Steve is from Nacogdoches, TX and started with Hopkins Commercial in 1993 and served as President from 2003-2009 where he was responsible for running all development. Steve is CEO for Malouf Interests and handles all day to day operations and investments of the company.
Steve graduated from Stephen F. Austin with a Bachelor of Business Administration in Finance. Steve is a member of ICSC.
