Since 2009, Owens PLLC has been an active partner in the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency's (EPA) WasteWise Program. The Firm has been an advocate for the go green campaign happening worldwide. The environmental movement gained momentum in the 1960s and has since grown to educate people around the world on what they can do to decrease the human impact on the Earth. The Firm has implemented various procedures to help in this effort. In 2020 Owens PLLC was recognized as a Regional Award Winner by the EPA for its significant reduction in paper use and other waste.
