The Catalan Association of Family Businesses (ASCEF) was established in 1998 under the aegis of the Family Business Institute (IEF) and comprises over 100 companies representing the Catalan business fabric. These companies play an important role in the country's economy as they are committed to generating wealth, employment, the region and sustainability... Our aim is to be an active agent in the economic, political and social spheres; to project to society a rigorous image of who we are, of the role we play in the Catalan economic fabric and to provide valuable content for analysis... We aim to fuel pride in belonging to a family business and facilitate the involvement of different family members in the business project.
