Kilmarnock Enterprises is an Ōtautahi Christchurch-based social enterprise creating employment and development opportunities for Kiwis with intellectual disabilities. We sit halfway between a business and a charity, generating our income through commercial activities but driven by our social principles. Kilmarnock is a non-profit organisation with all profits invested into our social purpose... We provide a hands on, practical training environment that can prepare our team for employment beyond our Basecamp. Kilmarnock is similar to many commercial workplaces, only we're considerably more diverse. Here, people have the opportunity to gain experience in a large variety of work including food processing, e-waste recycling, packaging of goods and assembly of components... At Kilmarnock, we empower neurodiverse individuals with the choice to pursue meaningful work and provide the support they need to grow and thrive every step of the way.
