DEBENHAM COMMUNITY CENTRE - Key Persons
I am a resident of Debenham and am a regular member of the fitness classes here at Debenham Sports & Leisure. I am also a Trustee of the Debenham Street Fair Group.
I have been a Debenham resident since 1971 and have more recently led on grants & funding for the Charity as a trustee. In my spare time, I like hill walking, cycling, gardening, train tracks and marmalade.
I have a background working in Law and currently, as well as being a trustee, I work as a fitness instructor and team member at the centre.
I'm passionate about health and fitness and outreach for the same into the wider community and underserved groups.
I have lived in Debenham since 1994 and after retiring from teaching I have been actively involved in community activities. I joined the trustees at the end of 2021 after six years as editor of the Debenham Parish Magazine. I am also on the Hoppit Wood and Lake Steering Committee. I am delighted to become a trustee at DS&L and hope to aid its continued development.
