DOF is a community development financial institution (CDFI), launched in April 2007, located in Rockville Centre, New York and operating nationally. We are a 501c(3) tax-exempt organization which provides financing, technical services, and policy advocacy to increase access to appropriate and affordable housing and related services for people with disabilities throughout the United States... Our mission is to provide technical & financial services to individuals & organizations serving the disability market throughout the US, with a focus on affordable housing, schools & vocational training centers... As a Nationally Certified CDFI, DOF's mission is to provide financial products, technical assistance, equity investment and financial advisory services that improve the quality of life and build personal wealth for People with Disabilities and their families, and support organizations serving this market.
