Beginning in 2003, Mr. Sawyer also serves as Senior Engineer and consultant to the Consulting Engineering firm of Mullaney Engineering, Inc., located in Gaithersburg, Maryland. Mr. Sawyer was born in Milwaukee, Wisconsin and is a U.S. Citizen. His educational background includes engineering and project management studies at the University of Central Florida (Formerly Florida Technological University), Orlando Florida, with additional studies in the field of engineering management at The University of Florida, Gainesville, Florida, and Purdue University, West Lafayette, Indiana. Mr. Sawyer is an avid aviator and active pilot and holds flight ratings in both piston as well as turbine powered aircraft. Mr. Sawyer volunteers his time as a medical transport pilot as needed. He has been active in aviation since 1969, and has logged in excess of 14,000 hours in various types of aircraft over a 40 year period.
