HOSPICE WAIKATO

Hospice Waikato was founded in 1981 by Margaret Broad as a result of her own personal family tragedy... Hospice Waikato is partly funded by the District Health Board, with the balance funded by the generosity of the people of the Waikato. That's why we established the Hospice Waikato Foundation - to provide the financial back up and support for the hospice so that it may continue to help future generations of people and their families/whānau dealing with life limiting conditions. As the Foundation grows it will be there to support not only the immediate financial needs of the hospice but also provide funding for future capital requirements... Hospice Waikato provides its services free of charge to anyone who needs them across the Waikato, King Country and Thames-Coromandel, mirroring the region also covered by the Waikato District Health Board
