Sandy Morrison is an Associate Professor at the Faculty of Māori and Indigenous Studies, University of Waikato. Hamilton. She is from Ngāti Whakaue, Maniapoto and Te Tau Ihu o te Waka a Māui. Sandy's research and professional specialty seeks to apply indigenous models in addressing developmental issues to improve livelihoods for indigenous peoples and peoples of the Pacific. She has held global roles in adult education in NGO's which advocate for the right of all adults to education and lifelong learning. Sandy was inducted into the International Adult and Community Education Hall of Fame by the University of Oklahoma in 2009. Sandy joined the Board of Hospice Waikato in late 2020

Stephen Ng was born, raised & educated in Dunedin. He has lived in Hamilton for over 20 years where he practises as an ophthalmologist (eye surgeon). On a national level, he has led eye healthcare advocacy campaigns and a Ministry of Health expert advisory group for eye healthcare. He is active in research on eyelid cancer surgery and measures to address unequal access to eye healthcare in the community. His governance experience includes chairing the Save Sight Society of New Zealand and the Board of Trustees of Hamilton Boys' High School.

Susan Hassall

Susan Hassall has an MA (Hons) from the University of Auckland. She has been headmaster of Hamilton Boys' High School since 2000, following her early career as a teacher of English, at the same school. She has extensive experience in education, and in the management of change in an organisation. Susan has also been involved, as an executive member, with the Association of Boys' Schools, since its inception in 2002, and has an abiding interest in, and involvement with, gifted education, having contributed to the Minister's Advisory Group for many years. In March 2016, Susan joined the University of Waikato Council, becoming Pro-Chancellor in 2017. She is also a member of The University of Waikato Honours Committee. Susan contributes to the wider community as a Justice of the Peace, and as a Wedding and Special Occasion Celebrant. Susan joined the board in late 2018.
