Fresno Children's Pediatrics, which has been providing unsurpassed pediatric care for more than 50 years, is now a member of Valley Children's Medical Group. Fresno Children's Pediatrics was founded by Dr. Ed Defoe, who later became Fresno Country's public health director. Over the years, the practice has been led by esteemed physicians Dr. Bill Reamer, Dr. Jack Scott, Dr. Louis Janzen, Dr. Maurice Gillespie, Dr. James P. Flanagan and Dr. David Bergdahl. The practice, previously known as Fresno Pediatric Associates, was originally near the old Valley Children's Hospital site on Shields Ave in Fresno. In 1992, the practice moved to 7720 N.
