As Director, Human Resources, Alyse is responsible for leading the strategic planning and management of the Authority's Human Resources policies, programs, and services, and ensuring that the Human Resources needs of the organization are being met and are aligned with business objectives.
Alyse is a graduate of Sir Wilfrid Laurier University with an Honours Bachelor of Arts in Sociology and a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology. She also holds an Honours Post Graduate Certificate in Human Resources Management and is designated as a Certified Human Resources Leader.
Alyse has 16 years of Human Resources experience including the last 12 years with the Conservation Authority. Prior to joining the Authority, she worked in the private sector.
Outside of work Alyse enjoys spending time with her family and friends and is an avid reader.

Cheryl connects donors, volunteers and staff with its vision of a healthier Lake Simcoe watershed, ensuring the Foundation is successful in its mission. Cheryl provides strategic direction and leadership for all operations including, governance, fundraising and communications. Under her leadership, the Foundation has grown in innovation, non-profit management excellence and revenue, resulting in more support each year for LSRCA environmental initiatives.
Cheryl's success is built on almost three decades of professional experience. Over twenty years at IBM Canada Ltd in sales, marketing and finance has enabled her to apply her passion for strategic thinking to create solutions that enabled customers and staff to achieve their goals.
Cheryl has a B.A. in Economics from Western University.

Glenn MacMillan graduated from Ryerson's Civil Engineering program as a Civil Engineering Technologist (C.E.T). He spent his first few years in the consulting industry where he was exposed to a wide range of water resource engineering projects. He then joined the Toronto Region Conservation Authority in as a Water Resource Technologist conducting technical review of engineering submissions related to stormwater management, erosion and sediment control and floodplain management.
Over the years, Glenn's responsibilities evolved from providing engineering leadership in all aspects of the Authority's role in water management to managing a multi-disciplinary team of technical experts in surface water and groundwater management, aquatic and terrestrial ecology, watershed management, green building design and sustainable technology evaluation, where he has a proven track record of building high performing teams.
Glenn has participated on numerous provincial, national and international committees, boards and working groups related to stormwater management and erosion and sediment control. He is currently the President of the Canadian Chapter of the International Erosion Control Association and Chair of the Canadian Standards Association Erosion and Sediment Control Technical Committee.

A 25-year veteran of communications and marketing, Kristen has spent the majority of her career leading strategic communications, marketing and event management initiatives for municipalities including Richmond Hill, Aurora and Markham and for more than a decade now, the Conservation Authority.
With a diverse academic background, Kristen took on roles that allowed her to exercise creativity, leading her to the field of communications and marketing. With diplomas in Graphic Design, Event Management, and university courses in marketing, crisis communications and public relations, Kristen draws on her vast knowledge and experience in communication arts as well as her bachelor's degree in human and physical Geography.
Kristen has curated an exceptional team of talent that excels in delivering innovative communication and marketing strategies to engage, inspire and influence individuals and businesses to leave the watershed (and our planet) in better shape than we found it.
Outside the office Kristen adores creative pursuits including drawing, painting and photography. Living close to forested trails, she also relishes any opportunity to get out for a run or walk and to hug a tree and give thanks for its gifts - no matter who's looking!

As LSRCA's General Manager of Corporate and Financial Services, Mark's portfolio includes Finance, Information Technology, Geographic Information Systems, and Records and Information Management. Mark sees this portfolio and his team as an enabling partner in completing all the important work being done at LSRCA.
Mark is a graduate from the University of Guelph with an Honours Bachelor of Commerce degree, with a specialty in Management Economics. He has also received his Municipal Management diploma from the Schulich School of Business at York University and has his accounting designation as a Chartered Professional Accountant.
Mark has been a Newmarket resident for more than 30 years and outside of work, likes to spend time with his wife and their 2 kids, while playing, coaching or passionately following almost all sports.

Rob Wilson is our resident fish expert and has been with LSRCA since 2002. As our Aquatic Ecologist, Rob oversees our aquatic sampling program, which includes monitoring fish populations across the Lake Simcoe Watershed. Rob received his Bachelor of Science, Environmental Science, from Trent University in 1996 and started his career working with Conservation Authorities over two decades ago.
When he's not in the office, Rob can often be found near the rivers and streams in the watershed, collecting information about fish and the other organisms they share the water with. You may have also spotted Rob wading through our local watercourses while electrofishing, one of his favourite sampling methods.
