Miss Ireson is our Year 5/6 Teacher and Primary Languages and Humanities Subject Leader. She joined St Peter's in September 2022, having spent over four years teaching in an Outstanding school in Plymouth, and has thoroughly enjoyed having the opportunity to develop key areas of our broader curriculum. This is Miss Ireson's seventh year in Primary Education and, prior to St Peter's, she worked and volunteered in schools across Dorset (where she is originally from), Devon and Cornwall. When she isn't working, she enjoys watching rugby and spending time either in the kitchen or the great outdoors, but must admit that there is nothing better than snuggling down with a nice cup of tea, some Maltesers and a good book - especially when it's raining and cold outside! She loves fantasy tales and adventure stories, especially those with a pinch of magic…

Mr Kumar is our Deputy Headteacher and Year 2 Class Teacher. He also holds the roles of leading Science, PE and Pupil Premium across the school and is the Attendance Champion. Mr Kumar joined the school in September 2022, having previously worked as an Assistant Headteacher at an Outstanding School in Plymouth and is passionate towards strengthening the school's community to enable it to flourish. Prior to moving to Plymouth from Shropshire, he has travelled across both South East Asia and South America. Mr Kumar's hobbies include playing and watching football, as well as spending time with his wife and two children, George and Teddy.
Mr Hedger is the Year 3/4 teacher, English lead and Computing lead at St Peter's. He has been at the school five years but has been teaching across Devon and Dorset for a decade. In his spare time, Mr Hedger likes to spend time with his family, exploring exciting places like Dartmoor and getting lots and lots of sleep!
He loves reading and has done since he was little. His favourite ever book is Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire but fondly remembers South by South East by Anthony Horowitz from his childhood which is the funniest book he has ever read.
Mrs. Yuill is our Year 1 teacher. She began her teaching career in London and then spent some time teaching in Argentina before returning to her home city of Plymouth. She has spent lots of time teaching all across the Primary ages, from Reception to year 6 and her greatest passion is helping children learn to read and to love it! In her spare time, she loves spending time outdoors - going on walks or heading to the beach. She also loves reading and playing board games with her daughter.
My name is Lauren, I have been working at St peters for over 10 years now in the nursery. I have been working in nursery's since I qualified in 2001 and worked with all ages from birth to pre school. I had a break when I had my children and volunteered at the local children's centre during this time.
