Cayne Letizia

Cayne Letizia, Board Vice President, was elected to the board in 2015 and has been a White Plains resident since 2010. Three of his children attend White Plains Schools. A graduate of St. Bonaventure University, Dr. Letizia holds a Master's degree in Education and a Ph.D. in Language Literacy & Learning, both from Fordham University. With 15 years' experience as an educator, he is currently an English Teacher in the Valhalla Union Free School District. Dr. Letizia serves on the Board's Curriculum and Human Resources Committees, and represents the Board on the City's Recreation Advisory Committee.

Charlie Norris

Charlie Norris was elected to the Board of Education in 2007 and has been a resident of White Plains since 1987. His two children graduated from White Plains High School. Mr. Norris is a graduate of SUNY/Stonybrook and has a J.D. degree from New York Law School. He practices law in White Plains. Active in the schools before his Board election, Mr. Norris has been a member of the Annual Budget Committee, the District's Strategic Planning Core Team, and was PTA president at White Plains High School - the first male to serve in that role. He has served on the Board of the White Plains Youth Soccer League. Mr. Norris serves on the Board's Human Resources and Special Education Committees. He also represents the Board on PTA Council and the Westchester-Putnam School Boards Association.

Dr. Randy Stein

Dr. Randy Stein was elected to the Board of Education in 2008 and has lived in White Plains since 1985. Her three children are graduates of White Plains High School. Dr. Stein graduated from SUNY/Albany and Albert Einstein College of Medicine. An endocrinologist, she has practiced medicine in White Plains for 31 years and is on the staff of White Plains Hospital Center. She is a partner in the WestMed medical group. Dr. Stein serves on the Board's Finance/Audit and Special Education Committees.

Rose Lovitch

Rose Lovitch has been a resident of White Plains since 1990 and was elected to the Board in 2012. Her three children are graduates of White Plains High School. Among her many volunteer positions before joining the Board, Mrs. Lovitch was President of the PTAs at Post Road School and the High School before becoming Co-President of PTA Council. She has also been a Girl Scout leader in the community for 13 years. Mrs. Lovitch has a B.A. degree from Fordham University and a J.D. Degree from Pace University School of Law. She is a practicing attorney. As a Board Member, Mrs. Lovitch serves on the Curriculum and Policy Committees.

Sheryl Brady

Sheryl Brady has been a White Plains resident for 36 years and was first elected to the Board of Education in 2007. All four of her children are proud graduates of the White Plains Schools. Sheryl holds a Bachelor's degree from Purchase College and a Master's and Ph.D. in Mathematics from Cornell University, where she was a Danforth Fellow. Formerly, she was an Assistant Professor and Chair of the Mathematics Department at Purchase College, and currently, she is Manager of Operations and Client Services at Bennett International Education Consultancy as well as a teacher in the Congregation Kol Ami Religious School. An active member of the White Plains school and greater community, Sheryl previously served as President of the Post Road PTA and PTA Council and was a member of the District's Strategic Planning Core Team and Annual Budget Committee. On the Board, Sheryl serves on the Curriculum, Special Education, and Policy Committees. She has also been Board liaison to the PTA Council and the Westchester Putnam School Boards Association. In addition, Sheryl serves on the Southern Westchester BOCES Board of Education.
