Combining a strong passion and love of learning, teaching, and accounting, Amy is well suited for her role as a senior instructor at Oregon State University's College of Business and as a member of Kernutt Stokes' virtual accounting team. She has presented on a number of accounting topics across the country and her writing has been published in the International Journal of Digital Accounting.
Her accounting career began in Dallas, Texas, where she worked for a Big Four firm before working as a financial accountant for Cook Children's hospital. While working for the hospital, she began teaching at a community college and Texas Christian University, before moving to Houston, where she taught at the University of Houston. Her life mission was to be a college professor in Oregon, and she accomplished that when she began working at Oregon State University in 2007. She later joined Kernutt Stokes in 2023.
Originally from Houston, Texas, Amy and her husband have three kids, a dog that is more like a stuffed animal that moves, and two beta fish that loves to pet. She enjoys hiking, exercising, studying healthy eating, needlepoint, stained glass, knitting, and watching sports. She also volunteers with incarcerated adolescents in Oregon through Youth for Christ, where she can give those youth hope that they can start their lives over.

A native Oregonian, Chad grew up in Triangle Lake and graduated from the University of Oregon. Chad joined Kernutt Stokes as he was excited to work with local businesses and play his part in helping the community succeed.
Chad works with clients in a broad array of industries, primarily in manufacturing, real estate, forest products, and construction. He enjoys strategizing and helping clients accomplish whatever goals they seek to achieve. Chad also leads the firm's manufacturing niche and represents Kernutt Stokes nationally as part of the BDO Alliance Manufacturing Roundtable.
Chad currently lives in Eugene with his wife, and enjoys all sports, golfing, hiking, trying new restaurants, and traveling.

As the firm's CFO, Cheri is responsible for all internal accounting and administrative support. Prior to joining Kernutt Stokes in 2017, she worked for many years in the private sector as a CFO and controller in the construction/building materials industry, as well as the medical and technology production industries.
Throughout her career, Cheri has had the pleasure of working in several diverse industries as a financial leader. For her, it is important to gather the financial information in a way that tells a story and helps the principles of the business make informed decisions. Additionally, she believes that it is really important to understand the nuisances of each business to better understand which KPIs are important, which in turn influences the decisions she makes to support the firm on a daily basis.
Cheri grew up in California and currently lives in Springfield, Oregon with her husband. A passionate foodie, she has a cookbook library with over 500 books of varying styles and cuisines, including some that are over 100 years old while others are brand new. She is a ardent reader, a sometime artist, and a daily walker. She and her husband get away as often as possible in their motorhome, exploring different areas of our beautiful state.

A native Oregonian, Ethan grew up in The Dalles, Oregon. He has significant experience working in industry accounting as an internal auditor in the health care, financial services, and hospitality industries. He joined Kernutt Stokes in 2023.
Using his extensive industry experience, Ethan is excited about the opportunities to collaborate with clients to help them improve their processes and become more efficient.
Ethan enjoys spending time with his son, friends, and family. He also likes being outdoors, especially the high desert, coast, and mountains.

A native Oregonian, Hope grew up in the Willamette Valley area. She began her career with Kernutt Stokes as a summer intern and joined the firm full time after graduating from Oregon State University.
Hope has worked extensively on data analytics and statistical interpretations using state-of-the-art data analysis software. She excels in identifying anomalies, investigating trends and patterns, and researching fraud detection. With her background in information systems, Hope adds an additional perspective to her work, showing the context of information usage throughout an organization and evaluating the best placement of information resources.
Hope and her husband Kenny live in Corvallis with their two young boys. In her free time, she enjoys reading, target practice with her compound bow, and camping around Oregon with her family.

A native of Junction City, Oregon, Kaitlyn graduated from Oregon State University. After graduation, she initially worked for a Big Four firm in Portland before joining Kernutt Stokes in 2015.
Kaitlyn chose a career in accounting because she enjoys working with others to solve problems and in a field where "no two days are the same." With her energetic and enthusiastic personality, Kaitlyn leads Kernutt Stokes' construction niche team and serves as the firm's "A&A futurist," where she looks for potential technology, software, and innovative solutions to help the firm increase efficiency and better serve its clients. Additionally, she is a part of the Social Committee and KS Wellness Committee.
Kaitlyn and her husband Teddy live in Tacoma, Washington with their daughter Evelyn and their chocolate lab. She stays active by coaching and playing soccer, boating, skiing, hiking, and cooking. She proudly says she is a "true northwest gal" and loves the rain.

Kevin was born and raised in Eugene. After receiving his Master of Taxation from the University of Denver, he started his career at a Big Four Firm, and then worked for an international oil and gas company on federal and state tax issues, before joining Kernutt Stokes in 2009. This experience serves him well as he is responsible for setting firm policy and procedures for tax compliance, consulting engagements, and those related to new tax laws and compliance issues.
Kevin, his wife Corrine and their children, Carter, Madeleine, and McKay, make their home in Springfield. In his free time, he enjoys hiking, running, camping, and water skiing. He also volunteers his time serving on the local board of the Boy Scouts of America.

A native Oregonian, Matthew graduated from Southern Oregon University as well as the University of Oregon before joining Kernutt Stokes in 2007.
Matthew has successfully established Kernutt Stokes as the premier accounting firm for the beverage industry, specializing in beer and wine. Matthew has leveraged this experience developing a niche to assist others at the firm develop and find similar success in other industries.
Matthew and his wife live in Eugene with their three Rhodesian Ridgebacks. They spend a lot of their free time camping with their dogs; he also enjoys listening to his large vinyl record collection and visiting craft breweries around the world. With his vast knowledge of craft beer, Matthew believes he can find a beer that even a non-beer drinker would enjoy.

Warren grew up in Provo, Utah, and graduated from Brigham Young University. After starting his career with a Big Four firm in Washington, D.C., Warren joined Kernutt Stokes in 1992 because the firm gave him greater opportunity to work directly with business owners and their businesses.
Warren has always lived by the philosophy that you should serve others as you would like to be served, which has resulted in his clients benefiting from his personal dedication. Warren is heavily involved in the firm's recruiting efforts, and his professional and personal experience provide tremendous value to the staff and recruits. He also serves as Kernutt Stokes' unofficial firm historian, and is a former managing partner of the firm.
Warren and his wife Kathy live in Eugene and have four adult children. He enjoys volunteering within the community, participating in church leadership, swimming, and traveling.
