The Hugh Wooding Law School offers a two-year, full-time programme of training for persons who hold a degree of Bachelor of Laws from the University of the West Indies or another university approved by the Council leading to the award of the Legal Education Certificate..... Fifty years ago, in 1973, the Council of Legal Education opened the Hugh Wooding Law School ("HWLS") to its first cohort of students. In order to celebrate this significant milestone, we intend to, "HWLS 50th Anniversary - Honouring our past, celebrating our achievement and embracing our future" by hosting a number of activities during the academic year 2023-2024...
