The Lisbon Council is an independent, non-profit, non-partisan association. Support for the Lisbon Council's activities does not constitute endorsement of any statement, view or initiative of the Lisbon Council or any of its associates... The Lisbon Council has a diversified funding base made up of grants, contracts and support from a wide array of organisations and agencies. We would particularly like to extend our gratitude to the European Commission and the European Union's Horizon Europe programme, which supported projects that made possible roughly two-thirds of the Lisbon Council's activities in 2021-2022.
