Sam graduated from Mount Union College (now know as the University of Mount Union) in Alliance, Ohio with a double major in history and political science and did so in three (3) years. While in college he was on the Dean's List, and was the recipient of the Grand Army of the Republic Memorial Award; from Thomas M. Cooley Law School, in Lansing, Michigan; where he was also on the Dean's List; and from Boston University in Boston, Massachusetts with a Master of Legal Letters... Sam's practice has included being a Indiana Deputy Attorney General, Staff Attorney for the National Association of Insurance Commissions (NAIC), and the Fort Wayen Metropolitan Human Relations Commissioners. He began his private practice in 1995.
