Julia's 30-year year career in social progress and philanthropy spans issues and sectors. She joined the Foundation in 2016 and today leads an integrated team that advances the mission and strengthens community impact and asset growth.
Kimber collaborates with the Community Impact team through granting programs, research priorities and learning events. Along with a career in the nonprofit sector, Kimber brings a lived experience lens and passion for social justice to her work.
Laura supports the Foundation's philanthropy and legacy teams. She aids in addressing inquiries from prospective fundholders and professional advisors on new fund and bequest creation.
Assisting with gifts, grants and philanthropic strategy, Lisa's team fosters fundholder relationships at TF. She has 25 years of experience in fundraising, relationship management & operations in the charitable sector.
Marya handles system and cash transactions, reconciliations, payroll, statements, as well as our investments. She's been a member of the Foundation team since 2007.

Mohamed has spent his entire career advancing social change, from grassroots organizations to global charities. A former nonprofit executive and strategy consultant, he now leads the Community Impact team overseeing all strategic granting, learning programs, and research priorities of the Foundation.

With 30-years in nonprofit and philanthropy (half of that at the Foundation), Nadien currently leads TF's operational effectiveness processes, including people and culture. She also supports the Foundation's social impact investment work and is our dynamic in-house facilitator.

Nicola Hives is an experienced strategist and leadership fundraiser who has helped generous Canadians make an impact through charitable giving for more than 15 years. As Director of Growth Strategy she is responsible for a diverse portfolio of strategic initiatives which includes government relations and legacy giving.
Nicole supports fundholders by ensuring they are equipped with the resources to make their grants and maximize their giving. She is happy to talk about philanthropic interests and help identify community organizations doing related work.
Over 10 years' experience in providing senior level administrative support, Patience is responsible for providing governance and administrative support to the CEO & President and the board of directors and its committees.
Phylicia is currently on leave.
Phylicia is responsible for bridging and strengthening the relationships between the Foundation and neighbourhoods across the city. She has worked in the nonprofit sector for over seven years and proudly calls Scarborough home.

Sarah joined fundholder engagement in 2017. She has 10 years of experience in fundraising, relationship management and community engagement. Her specialties: community fundraising & events and the Foundation's giving circles program.
As part of the community engagement team, Sarah manages the fundholder learning program from design to execution while supporting other Foundation initiatives. She is delighted to be applying her experience in project management and adult learning to help carry out our mission.

Torey specializes in the internal functions of the fundholder engagement team, including data management, reporting and planning. She manages projects that improve team efficiencies and processes.
With experience in grassroots advocacy, program management and granting, Vanessa brings a unique community development background to Toronto Foundation. Vanessa is a former varsity athlete and her career interest in social justice began as a volunteer facilitator leading workshops for high school students on how to identify and address homophobia in sport.
