ZERO WASTE EUROPE

Zero Waste Europe (ZWE) is the European network of communities, local leaders, experts, and change agents working towards the elimination of waste in our society. We advocate for sustainable systems and the redesign of our relationship with resources, to accelerate a just transition towards zero waste for the benefit of people and planet... We have now come to realise that we need to rethink the way we produce and consume in order to create these ecosystemic relations, which preserve the value and energy embedded in resources whilst enabling civilisation to flourish and prosper. Zero waste is not only about decoupling economic activity from environmental destruction - it is, above all, about building resilience and natural capital for future generations...
