QUESENBERRY'S CONSTRUCTION

Quesenberry's Incorporated started as a small construction company founded by M.S. Quesenberry, Jr. ("Ques") in late 1945. Ques learned his carpentry skills from his father, who was a master carpenter. After graduating high school, he did small contracting work in the Big Stone Gap and Powell Valley area of Southwest Virginia before volunteering for the US Army in 1941... After a few years, George and Ques split the business into two branches. Ques remained with the construction and cinder block business. In the late 1940s and early 1950s, Wise Block and Construction Company evolved into Builder's Supply Company and Quesenberry's Construction Company. Charles Stone, Jr. served as the VP and General Manager of the construction division... Quesenberry's Construction has served as Southwest Virginia's premier construction company for almost 80 years.
