GLOBAL CHAMBER PLATFORM

The GCP is an informal Chamber platform to foster global Chamber-to-Chamber relations at global level. It was created in October 2002 when the Global Chamber Declaration was signed by 8 founding members. At the moment, the GCP comprises 16 mainly transnational Chamber federations. The Global Chamber Platform is also Partner of the B20 - the official economic voice vis-à-vis the G20 - and therefore provides recommendations for policy decisions on a global level... The Global Chamber Platform (GCP) brings together the major national and trans-national Chamber organisations from the four corners of the globe and develops joint initiatives to facilitate economic cooperation and to promote free trade initiatives... GCP develop a coherent answer to the challenges of globalisation and facilitate trade, by using fully the potential of Chambers around the world.
