Naturalmente Mediterraneo was born in 2009 as stress relief from a difficult job. I began making soap and experimenting with natural, local ingredients for the skin as a hobby. Or maybe it began long before that with the natural-living values my mother passed on to me and my father's deep love of nature which we shared on many canoe & camping trips in the provincial parks of Ontario, Canada... We make and package everything by hand in our artisan studio in Vera-Garrucha, Spain. Our soaps are made using the traditional method, mixing the ingredients - primarily local extra-virgin olive oil - until the mixture thickens and then pouring into wooden moulds, hand cutting & stamping and then curing. We also hand pour our creams, salves, scrubs, perfumes, serums, body oils and lip balms in small batches to ensure they are fresh...
