We have developed an Active Network Management (ANM) solution that relies on SCADA-agnostic technologies to prevent congestion and voltage issues by means of smart decision-making algorithms. Such a solution increases the share of distributed and renewable energy generation that DSOs can host in their network while avoiding prohibitive infrastructure reinforcement costs. Our ANM scheme can furthermore exploit the flexibility of loads and storage devices to decrease the reliance on generation curtailment and reduce operational costs... We have designed purpose-built applications to manage the data and processing requirements of energy businesses (e.g. retailers, energy contractors, ...). Our solutions feature decision-support capabilities by computing dedicated analytics that extract key information from the data at hand. We can both develop standalone software solutions or integrate with existing CRM and ERP applications.
