Founded by musicologist, composer and oboist John Walker, and several others, in 2013, the mission of Cayambis Music Press is to provide musicians with the finest quality music from Latin America published to the highest standards. In addition, a core value of our company is to encourage and promote the performance of this music and to make available essential resources in support of our overall corporate mission... We have designed our website to make your selection as easy as possible. We realize that the names and titles may not yet be familiar to you, and for that reason all of our composers have provided brief biographies. In addition, clicking on the title of any composition will take you to that composition webpage, where you will find a short musical example as well as product descriptions... Cayambis Music Press publishes exclusive Latin American sheet music for small ensembles as well as works by North Americans and historical compositions by 19th century composers.
