ALIANZA SHIRE

The evolution of the dynamics of the Shire Alliance with an increase in the level of involvement, alignment and trust of partners over time... It is formed by three leading companies in the energy sector (Acciona.org, Iberdrola and Signify), the Spanish Agency for International Cooperation and the Centre for Innovation in Technology for Human Development of the Polytechnic University of Madrid (itdUPM), in collaboration with the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR)... The Shire Alliance drives energy solutions that improve services and quality of life for people in refugee camps, working in collaboration with partners and implementers in the refugee camps themselves, and with itdUPM as the facilitating entity, which is responsible for the coordination of the Alliance.
