April Kane

April graduated from Bridgewater State College with a BSW and an M.Ed. April has 30 years Residential Experience with 20 of those years working with individuals with Developmentally Challenges. April has worked at HSO for the past 16 Years as a House Manager and most recently as Residential Director where she oversees three homes.

Brenda LeBaron

David Maina

Job Titles:

David graduated from A.H.I.T.I in Kenya and from Massasoit Community College in Pharmacology. For the past 14 years David has worked at a number of residential and vocational programs for individuals with autism. In January 2017 David began working at HSO where he was house manager and in August 2017 David was promoted to Residential Director. In that position he oversees four HSO homes and one cooperative apartment where ensures that individuals receive quality care.

Deirdre Cicerone

Deirdre is a Nurse Consultant for HSO who was hired in May 2017 to work with HSO's other three nurses to ensure that individuals in HSO homes are receiving quality medical care.

Edward Bondi

Job Titles:

Ed has a Bachelor of Science Degree in Teacher Education from Springfield College. Ed worked 10 years for MassHealth where he was Program Manager for the Adult Day Health and Day Habilitation Programs; he worked three years as a QE specialist for DDS and 13 years as Program Monitor for the DDS South Coastal Area Office. Ed is retired from state service and currently works part-time as a consult for HSO as the Director of Quality Assurance. In this position Ed is a member of the executive team and conducts audits and assesses the condition of HSO's homes.

Joy Flowers

Joy has a BA Degree from Wilmington College and an MEd in Counseling from the University of Massachusetts. Joy is a licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) with National Board Certification. and is a Professional Counselor. Joy has worked in human services for over 40 years in multiple settings and positions. Joy has been a Clinical Consultant at HSO for 14 years. Her responsibilities include developing Behavioral Support Plans; writes Guidelines for Support; medication treatment plans; provides staff education, visits individual in their homes as needed and is a member of the executive team for overseeing & developing agency policies & procedures, problem solving and planning to enhance service delivery across the agency. Joy provides consultation with direct support staff, observes activities in the homes in order to provide feedback or for developing interventions.

Karen Anderson

Kelly Doherty

Kelly was hired by HSO in September 2017 to assist in the medical care of individuals in residential homes. Prior to coming to HSO, Kelly worked with individuals with adults with Developmental Challenges as a full time Nurse Manager at a group home for 8 individuals with Developmental Challenges. In her position with HSO, Kelly oversees the medical needs of individuals in seven medically involved HSO group homes and works with HSO's three other nurses in overseeing the medical needs of individuals throughout HSO's residential network.

Maribel Cruz

Maribel earned her nursing license from Howell Cheney Technical School, Manchester, CT in 1997. She has a nursing license in Pennsylvania, Florida and Massachusetts. Maribel has worked in Nursing Homes, various Nursing agencies, Prisons and group homes. She has worked at several agencies in Massachusetts providing services and supports to individuals with Developmental Challenges. Maribel has been working at HSO since August 2017. In her position as LPN she oversees the care and supports individuals receive in their home and works with HSO's other three nurses to ensure that individuals are receiving the proper care based on their needs.

Robin Scott

Job Titles:
  • Nurse
Robin has been a Nurse for the past 19 years. For 17 of those years she has worked with Developmentally Challenged children and adults. She is a Nurse Consultant at HSO and has served in that position for the past 8 years. Robin, along with HSO's other three nurses is to ensure that all individuals receive quality medical care. Robin is responsible for ensuring that all MAP (Medication Administration Program) certified staff adhere to MAP trainings and Policies. She supports staff with medical diagnoses that require additional trainings as well as any medical treatments, medical equipment, nutrition E509 specialized diets and/or other medical issues. Robin, working with HSO's other three nurses makes sure that medical appointments and follow-ups are done. When necessary she accompanies staff and individuals to medical appointments.

Ronald Temple

Ron studied at Peirce College where he received a Bachelor of Science Degree Information Technology with a concentration in Business Information Systems. He holds a Master of Business Administration from the University of Phoenix. Ron has worked with individuals with Developmentally Challenges for the past 17 years. Ron began working as House Manager for HSO in 2008 and was recently promoted to the position of Residential Director for HSO where he oversees the services and supports for individuals residing in five HSO homes and one cooperative apartment.
