CARTER HALL OF FAME

The Carter County Sports Hall of Fame is being launched by Charles Peters and Jamie Combs. The first induction will be held on Saturday, November 17. Time and location will likely be confirmed in July... The CCSHOF is open to any coach, athlete or sports figure from Carter County, which includes high school, college, middle school, youth leagues, boys and girls clubs or even fans who have played a big part in Carter County sports... Peters was a TSSAA official, associated with football, basketball and baseball, for 30 years. He was also a professional wrestler for more than 25 years, receiving an induction to the Tennessee Wrestling Hall of Fame and the Southern States Hall of Fame.
