Alesi Brereton joined the Alderley Edge team in November 2023 and is very committed to her dental nurse training.

Alex is CEO of Bupa Insurance Ltd, and the General Manager of UK Insurance. He joined Bupa in 2008, leading the Clinics business, and has also been the Director of Health and Benefits Management for the UK Health Insurance business, where he was responsible for the healthcare that our customers receive. He was previously a Principal at Marakon Associates, the strategic advisory firm, and before that held a number of commercial roles at First Choice Holidays.
Alison is a dental nurse qualified in conscious sedation and holds several medical administration qualifications.
Amanda has over 20 years of experience in customer care and has worked as a dental receptionist for 10 years. She joined our friendly team in 2022.
Amie Garlick has been a dental nurse for 16 years and brings a wealth of experience to her role.
She has a passion for going that extra mile to help patients receive the best care. She has worked for Bupa for eight years, completing courses in dental radiography a Level 3 Diploma in Leadership & Management.

Anthony re-joined Bupa Global in October 2021, having previously been with Bupa for over 20 years in a number of roles, including as Managing Director of our business in Latin America. He has broad experience of medical insurance businesses across a range of international markets, and formerly held the role of CEO - Global Solutions at United Healthcare Global, part of United Health Group.
Alongside her role with us, Aradhna is a clinical teaching fellow at the dental hospital of the University of Manchester, involving teaching fifth year undergraduate students. Aradhna is passionate about her role in dentistry and enjoys caring for patients.
Brandy Mosedale is a dental hygienist who qualified in Orange County, California before relocating to the UK in 2006.
She provides an array of skills and knowledge essential for the provision of high quality dental care, and is deeply enthusiastic about treating gum disease and helping her patients maintain excellent oral health. Brandy believes that communication is central to providing outstanding oral health care, and she enjoys getting to know the patients at Bupa Dental Care Alderley Edge.
Carlos became CEO of Bupa Global & UK on 1 April 2021. In this role, he is accountable for Bupa UK businesses and a number of Bupa Global international health insurance businesses.
Carlos joined Bupa's business in Spain, Sanitas in 2006. He was Strategy Director and then CFO of Europe and Latin America Market Unit. He became General Manager for Bupa Chile in 2018.

Charlotte Smith recently qualified as a dental nurse, having previously worked in a busy combined NHS and private practice. Charlotte is looking forward to expanding her existing knowledge by working alongside our specialists at Dental Excellence Harewood. Debra Reynolds has been at the practice since 2014 and has since worked her way up to become Practice Manager.
Donna joined our reception team in 2022. She worked in a small dental practice for four years so has experience with the day-to-day duties on reception.
Dr Adnan Safdar is an experienced dentist, currently working as part of the team at Moreton Dental Care. Adnan has a particular interest and expertise in placing dental implants, helping to restore smiles and bite function.
Dr Karishma Chouglay is a General Dentist who has worked at Bupa Accrington since 2020.
Karishma is trained to provide Invisalign Go for short-term orthodontics. She studied biochemistry (BSc Hons) at Queen Mary University of London before qualifying in dentistry (BDS) at Peninsula Dental School, Plymouth in 2016. She carried out her foundation training in Bicester, followed by her dental core training in oral and maxillofacial Surgery at the Royal Surrey County Hospital in Guildford. She has worked as a general dental practitioner in Stevenage and London before getting married and moving to Blackburn in 2020.
Since graduating, she has achieved a postgraduate Diploma of Membership of the Faculty of Dental Surgery of The Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh (MFDS RCSEd). She is trained to provide Invisalign Go for short-term orthodontics and is currently completing a postgraduate diploma in restorative dentistry.

Prior to Bupa James spent 5 years at the Bank of England, Prudential Regulation Authority, supervising motor, home and health insurers. Prior to this James spent 9 years at AIG heading up and transforming finance functions and businesses. James is a qualified accountant.

Jax joined our practice in 2021, having previously worked for Total Orthodontics Harrogate. She has over 15 years' experience in the dental industry.
Jenny is an experienced specialist in endodontics, providing a full range of endodontic care, including diagnosis and conventional and surgical root canal treatment.

Karen joined Dental Excellence Harewood in January 2021 as our patient coordinator.
Kate took on her role at Bupa Dental Care Moreton in 2021. Prior to joining us, she worked for many years in the retail sector where she gained an array of valuable management skills, as well as the ability to provide both staff and customers with a happy, calming and satisfying experience.

Mark Allan is the General Manager, for Bupa Dental Care.
He was previously General Manager for Business & Specialist Products in Bupa's UK Insurance business with responsibility for the commercial leadership of the Business & Specialist Products, SME and Corporate channels for Private Medical and Dental Insurance.
Mark joined Bupa in late 2017 having previously been Managing Director for RSA Insurance's Personal Insurance business as part of a 23-year career there performing a range of roles including Graduate trainee, Regional Director in their Estate Agency chain and Claims Operations Director.

Mark joined Bupa in July 2019 as Group Chief Information Officer. He is accountable for Bupa's technology agenda across the Bupa Group globally and the Bupa Global & UK Market Unit, in service of our ambition to become the world's most customer centric healthcare company. During 2021, his role also included leading Bupa's transformation agenda globally - a key part of the company's new strategy.
Prior to joining Bupa he worked for Barclays Bank for 13 years in a number of senior technology roles, most recently as Head of Change for Barclays UK and Chief Information Officer for Barclays' European businesses. He has also worked in technology and change consulting for Cap Gemini and began his career developing software with Accenture.
Nicky relocated from Salisbury to Leeds in 2018 and is our practice manager. Nicky has worked in private dental practice since 2019 and enjoys going that extra mile for our patients.

Peter is the Regional Clinical Director of Bupa Dental Care. He has a clinical background in restorative dentistry including the provision of dental implant treatment and management of tooth surface loss.
Rachel is a dentist with a strong interest in endodontics. Alongside practising dentistry, she's a general practitioner in the South Lakes area.

Rebecca is General Manager of Bupa UK Care Services, overseeing our network of care homes and retirement villages.
With more than 25 years working at Bupa UK, Rebecca was previously Operations Director for Bupa UK Care Services, a role which she held for over seven years.
Prior to joining our Care Services business, Rebecca spent over 20 years working for Bupa UK Insurance, where she held positions including Head of Operational Sales.
Rhonan Green has a passion for making people feel comfortable in the dental chair.
He enjoys providing general and cosmetic dentistry and is currently working towards gaining a diploma in restorative and aesthetic dentistry.
Qualifying from the University of Milan, Riccardo is an experienced, GDC-registered specialist periodontist.

Sarah was appointed General Manager of Bupa Health Services in 2021, overseeing Bupa Health Clinics and Cromwell Hospital. She previously held the role of Managing Director of Bupa Health Clinics since 2018.
Sarah commenced working at Bupa in 2011 starting out as a Regional Director in the Care Homes business before becoming Regional Managing Director, a position that she held for three years.
Before working at Bupa, Sarah held several senior commercial and operational roles within the retail travel industry, including Operations Director for a national travel business responsible for leading over 500 high street travel agents and supporting services across the UK.
Siobhan re-joined Bupa in February 2022 as CFO of Bupa Global & UK, having previously been Finance Director of Bupa ‘s UK Insurance business. Prior to that, Siobhan was Finance Director at Resolution Life Group a global life insurance group. Earlier in her career Siobhan was Chief Internal Auditor of Coventry Building Society, CFO of London Capital Group plc a listed CFD and spread betting business, and was a Director with Deloitte.

Stuart joined Bupa in February 2018 as General Counsel, UK. Stuart was formerly General Counsel and Company Secretary at Guardian Financial Services Holdings before that he was Group Legal Director at Friends Life plc. Stuart has also held senior legal counsel positions at Swiss Re (Admin Re UK) and GE Insurance Solutions. Stuart trained and qualified into the Corporate Insurance team at Clifford Chance.

Vicky joined the practice in 2014, bringing with her 30 years' experience in financial services. On top of her financial role at Moreton Dental Care, she also provides CQC compliance.
