DIE ANKER SKOOL - Key Persons

Mr André Snyman was born on the 2nd of January 1971 in Rustenburg. He matriculated from HTS Rustenburg in 1988. Mr Snyman studied Education at NKP and graduated in 1992. He started his career at Die Anker School in 1993 until 1999. He moved to Heidelberg Volkskool for a brief period before entering the private sector for 11 years. He returned to Die Anker School in 2014 where he became the vice-principal in 2015. Mr Snyman is married and has a daughter. For relaxation he enjoys fishing, rugby, playing guitar and singing.

Mr Francois du Toit was born on 7 January 1971 in Bloemhof. He completed his schooling at Rustenburg Grenswag in 1988. Mr du Toit graduated from NKP in 1992. He started his teaching career at Die Anker School in 1993, proving his competency in teaching Mathematics and Science. At the beginning of 2015, he became the principal of Die Anker School. Since then he has strived for excellence, creating a safe haven for the learners of Die Anker School. He is married and enjoys playing golf as a leisure activity.

Mr Quinton Hurter was born in Vanderbijlpark on the 14th of January 1984. He matriculated from HTS Carel de Wet in 2002. He furthered his studies at NWU Vaal Pukke where he graduated in 2006. He started his career as an educator at Laerskool Eligwa whilst busy with his studies. During 2008 he started working at HTS Carel de Wet. His first HoD position was at Laerskool Republiek in 2013. At the end of 2013 he became HoD at Die Anker School and two years later he became Vice Principal of Die Anker School. Mr Hurter is married and has a son and a daughter. He enjoys spending time with family and friends as well as occasionally playing golf.
