RONALD ROACH - Key Persons
Ronald Roach is the former Chief Executive Officer of the Trinidad and Tobago Solid Waste Management Company Limited and was charged with the responsibility of providing strategic vision, planning and operational leadership to the company and, inter alia, to drive overall growth and expansion of the company. He was also responsible for the management of the three municipal waste disposal sites at Beetham, Forres Park and Guanapo as well as waste collection, equipment maintenance and recycling activities. He has led a number of environmental projects including a National Medical Waste Classification Survey, National Solid and Hazardous Waste Management Plan, Lead Remediation Exercise for the Demerara Community and the National Waste Management Strategy and Action Plan. More recently, he has been involved in the establishment of SWMCOL's recycling facilities at POS and Arima, and has played a key role in the development of the Public Sector Recycling Program and the Curbside Collection Initiatives in the Tunapuna/Piarco Regional Corporation, Couva/Tabaquite/Talparo Regional Corporation, San Fernando City Corporation and Arima Borough Corporation.
