BirdSong tweed amp clones are housed in pine cabinets and expertly covered in tweed. Chickenhead knobs, red jewel lights, and genuine leather handles are used, just like on the originals from the '50s... We use Celestion® speakers, JJ®, Ruby ® or Shuguang® tubes and Orange Drop® capacitors in our tweed amplifiers... Our handcrafted tweed amplifiers only contain old school tube technology. No modern components like transistors, IC's, or diodes.
