Capital A is an investment firm with an established history. The team of Capital A was responsible for midmarket private equity within ABN AMRO and is formerly known as ABN AMRO Participaties. In 2018 the investment team spun off from ABN AMRO and rebranded into Capital A. ABN AMRO remains an important investor in all current funds. Other fund investors are: AlpInvest, LGT, Five Arrows, and Bregal... The focus and approach remained unchanged. Capital A invests in companies in the Netherlands, Belgium and Germany that have a strong growth outlook (whether autonomous or acquisitive). Our participations mainly consist of large minority or small majority stakes - we always emphasise partnership with our management teams... Originated in 1982 within ABN AMRO and since 2018 independent Capital A is an investment firm with a focus on growth companies in the mid market. We support entrepreneurs who are looking to expand their company organically or through buy&build.
