Dr. Pruitt received her Doctor of Education in Higher Education Management at the University of Pennsylvania in 2016. Her dissertation entitled, "How First-Year College Leadership Programs Influence Students' Behavior and Attitudes in Order to Promote Civic Engagement through Democratic Dialogue and Democratic Deliberation," was published by ProQuest. She also completed "Strategies in Building and Leading Diverse Organizations" at the HARVARDKennedy School in 2019. Dr. Pruitt achieved her Master of Communication and Information Studies (MCIS) from Rutgers in 2012, having studied abroad in Oxfordshire England at Wroxton College of Fairleigh Dickinson University. In 2010 she received her BA in Communications and her Associate in Arts in 2009 from Thomas Edison State University...
