STEM INNOVATION ACADEMY

STEM Innovation Academy is a free public charter school for grades 7-12 in Calgary that offers an innovative educational program with a special focus on hands-on Science, Technology, Engineering and Math (STEM) learning. Charter schools have the same accountability as other public school boards, adhere to the Alberta Program of Studies, do not charge tuition, employ certificated teachers and are open to all students... We are a new public charter school that is unique in Alberta. We opened our doors to grades 7-9 for the 2021-22 school year, and our high school opened for the 2022-23 school year.
