David Arthur

With an educational background in Engineering and Education, Mr. Arthur has a passion for STEM and for helping to make sure the next generation is prepared for the future of work. His board experience includes director-level roles for the past 12 years, including the Chair of the Board of one of the largest NPOs in Alberta. He enjoys volunteering and has done so for many years. Currently he a member of the organizing committee for the Enbridge Tour of Alberta for Cancer. Mr. Arthur is the father of 2 grown daughters, one of whom is an educator. He enjoys cycling, painting, the outdoors, travel and time with family. He has a Bachelor of Mechanical Engineering and a Bachelor of Education in Physics and Mathematics. He is a Tax Partner at Deloitte LLP in Calgary

Dee-Ann Radford - Chairman

As a clinical scientist and consultant in the field of Medical Physics, Ms. Radford Evans has collaborated with physicians, nurses, and academics and has presented her clinical work and research internationally. She has trained graduate students, coordinated academic programs, and does science outreach to help kids access quality STEM programming. She has held various positions on sports and education boards and committees. Ms. Radford Evans holds a BSc in Physics from the University of Calgary and an MSc in Medical Physics from the University of Texas. She currently works in the Medical Physics Department at the Tom Baker Cancer Centre.

Jennifer Aubin

Jennifer brings over 20 years of diverse experience with building high performing teams, inspiring employee engagement and creating positive, realistic people processes within fast-paced, energetic environments. Currently, Jennifer is the Chief People & Culture Officer at Attabotics, an aggressively growing Automated Storage and Retrieval System company in Calgary. As employee #19, Jennifer has grown the company over to 300 employees in North America, while implementing numerous processes and strategies to ensure a high performing team. Jennifer has founded two start-ups and has consulted with over 60 companies in the Calgary and area tech space, always with a strong focus on value creation in relation to people and business. She strongly believes that the best approach to success is a combination of passion, knowledge and attitude.

Michael McIntosh

Michael McIntosh is the founder of Denim & Smith Barbershops and since 2003 has also run a boutique Human Resources consulting company that supports the energy industry. As founder of Denim and Smith Barbershops, Mr. McIntosh is responsible for the overall growth and success of the chain. Prior to 2003, Michael served in senior commercial and corporate leadership positions within the oil and gas marketing and trading sector. Mr. McIntosh has a Bachelor of Commerce Degree from the University of Calgary and lives in Calgary with his two daughters.

Ms. Radford Evans

Sean Mclean

Sean is Partner-in-Charge of the Calgary office of a global, NASDAQ-listed human capital consulting firm and leads the firm's Canadian Financial Officers Practice. Sean leads Board Assessment, Succession & Renewal and CEO/CFO Executive Search projects for large and mid-cap Canadian organizations. He is a frequent speaker and panelist on a range of topics including CEO Succession, Board Governance, DE&I, Indigenous Relations and Psychological Safety. Over his nearly 30-year career, Sean has built and led teams, held P&L responsibility and driven successful new market entries. He has reported to, served on, and chaired numerous boards/committees during transformational periods including COVID, capital campaigns, facility construction, CEO succession and financial turnarounds. Sean earned a B.Sc. from Saint Francis Xavier University in 1996 and was an Academic All-Canadian member and captain of the Varsity Men's Basketball Team. He subsequently earned his M.S. in Educational Technology in 2003 from Walden University.

Tyler Shandro

The Honourable Tyler Shandro, KC, ECA, is a lawyer and former Member of Legislative Assembly of Alberta. He served the Alberta Government as a Minister of Health, Minister of Labour and Immigration, and Minister of Justice and Solicitor General. Before politics Tyler served as a member of various boards, commissions, and tribunals, such as the Calgary Police Service, the National Parole Board, the Senate of the University of Calgary, and the Calgary Parking Authority. Currently he also serves as a board member of several organizations, such as the Canada Ukraine Foundation and Covenant Health. He and his wife Andrea are the proud parents of two STEM students.
