MARZ COMMUNITY BREWING

Founded on the premise that the art, culture, food, and liquid we were drinking and enjoying would also be enjoyed by others, we created Marz as a platform for ongoing experimental collaboration-in the beers we were brewing and with the culture of the city as well... The brewery was formed as a dream in 2013 while we hung out at Maria's Packaged Goods & Community Bar in the Bridgeport neighborhood of Chicago. We combined our love of craft beer (first envisioned in print through the Mash Tun Journal) with our desire to make our city a better place to live, work, and play by creating Marz Community Brewing Co. With the encouragement of our friends in the Chicago craft brewing community, we opened our first nano-production facility in a storefront on Halsted Street, using a quaint 3-barrel Psycho Brew system.
