In 1982, Under Ghassan Khirfan leadership Shakeeb Khirfan Sons Co. for Commerce & Industry was established. Started its operations in the industrial field, producing, filling, distributing, marketing & exporting soft drinks and juices under their own brand name "VIVA". Due to this great success in soft drinks industry, Pepsi Cola International approached SKS and signed a Franchise Agreement where Pepsi Cola International licensed SKS to produce, fill and distribute Pepsi Cola brands in one way package in the Jordanian market.
