RESOURCE SMART

Sustainable agricultural production is the "what" in my work, and my connection to members of my community and our shared natural resources is the "why". I provide coordination for partnerships, outreach events and other efforts that help to provide farmers with the knowledge that they need to develop the right management strategies for their individual operations. Sometimes my work also involves grant writing, graphic design and website development. While our agricultural production here makes up only a small portion of our nation's food supply, our farmers are leaders in producing food while also working to restore water quality in our local bays and tributaries. We have a great story to tell, and I'm happy to do my small part in helping to move that forward.
