LCOE

The LCOE is accredited to carry out tests on equipment in the railway sector, both on-board, on-track, signalling, control and shunting equipment... LCOE is a pioneer in these tests, covering all IP and IK degrees of protection. Including IP X9 grade for high temperature (80ºC) pressurised water tightness... In 1949, the LCOE was created as an Electrical Verification Laboratory, and later the Calibration, High Voltage, Automotive, Household Appliances and Lighting laboratories were added. In 1989, RELE accreditation was obtained (prior to ENAC) for Low Voltage testing. In the following years, different international recognitions were obtained (CCA and IEC/CB agreements) and ENAC accreditation was extended to other fields within the LCOE.
